Sunfields Christmas ride:
Balfour, Saturday – 5th December 2020
Dirtbikes, quads, buggies and side by sides are all welcome! Every year, we twist the farmers’ arms in the Balfour area (60 kays from Carnival City) and host a ride with lots of lekker loops, to help the Sunfields home for the physically and mentally disabled.
Over the years, we’ve had huge input from riders who got behind the cause and came out to have a good time in the saddle. Santa is always there, as pressies filled the veranda and entrance hall to the home. There was not a dry eye in the house as the residents sing to wish us all a very Merry Christmas.
Come and join us for a ride through the rivers, farmlands and koppies of Balfour. A ride with a difference, lots of lekker loops for you to enjoy, swimming pools, trampolines, putt-putt, shady trees – and a charity spin… We load our bakkies, bikes and side by sides full of pressies and goodies for the Sunfield Home for the disabled. (Please see their wish list also attached.)
The house has 75 adults and 22 kids. They are in desperate need of all sorts… We will do a mass ride to the home and hand over our gifts – wish them a happy festive season and then you can head out and play to your heart’s content… Join us for a Christmas feast – or bring and braai for after the ride. This is not a super technical ride or a bike breaker. It’s a great day in the saddle for everyone! Come join the fun!

Option 1: Ride Only
Bring a braai or pack a picnic basket:
R300pp for riders and R100.00 for Non riders and kids under 12.
Option 2:
Coffee and rusks in the morning. A lekker outride and a Christmas lunch.
R400pp for riders and R290 for Non riders and kids under 12. Infants are free…
