Hare Scramble Events 2018

Hare scramble is an off-road dirt bike or quad bike racing event that varies in distance and time. Riders usually have to complete multiple laps around a marked course through wooded or other rugged natural terrain. Hare scrambles are conducted on closed course tracks which can vary from 4 – 60km or more. The terrain is usually wooded and fairly rugged in order to test the riders’ skills and endurance. The competitors are categorised by their skill levels and the displacement of their motorcycle’s engine.

FARM JAM Hare Scramble Series

Farm Jam is a series of 6 legs that takes place in January, March, May, August, September and October each year. You have to complete 5 laps of 30km each. The Farm Jam off-road series event is for Dirt Bikes and Quad Bikes.

GXCC Hare Scramble Series

The Gauteng Xross Country Club has a series of hare scramble events that includes both junior and senior age categories. All levels of riders welcome. The event is for dirt bikes and quad bikes.
Location: All series events are located close to Johannesburg and Pretoria.

Rover Motorcycle Club Hare Scramble Series

The Rover Motorcycle Club has multiple hare scramble events that take place in Skoenmakerskop, Port Elizabeth. You have to complete 5 laps of 30km each. The Farm Jam off-road series event is for Dirt Bikes and Quad Bikes.
