Bike X Cape is based in the Tankwa Karoo open space 2½ hour drive from Cape Town. Bike X Cape offers an all inclusive South Africa guided motorcycle tour experience. Routes traverse the spectacular Cape, Cederberg and Tankwa Karoo.
Riding the Tankwa is the antidote for the city quandary, it moves the soul and brings the Universe into perspective. See the horizon, hear the silence, smell the fresh air, twist the throttle and wash the grit down with a cold one.
The terrain is 99% gravel surface suited to intermediate level riders, who should have a valid license or leaner’s license. The bikes are relatively powerful machines, not suited to beginners, who may enquire about our ‘Start Line’ package.
